The Allegheny Valley School District welcomes over 900 Pre-K - grade 12 students to its buildings to provide an inclusive learning environment. Students are able to balance academics with opportunities in the arts, athletics, STEAM learning, and extra-curricular clubs, creating a balanced program that delivers a well-rounded educational experience.

Springdale Jr-Sr High School educaties approximately 400 students in Grades 7-12. Special programs include: Independent Study, Vocational-Technical Education, Distance Learning, College/University Concurrent Enrollment & College/Career Articulation, Early College Admission, Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), other special education programs. In addition, 25 Extra-curricular activities along with 14 Varsity, 5 Junior Varsity, and 8 Junior High athletic options are available. A renovation project was completed in February 2012.
