The Allegheny Valley School District is charged with keeping audiences informed about what’s happening in Allegheny Valley schools.  The Public Relations Department is responsible for the publication and dissemination of information that is a consistent, positive, and accurate portrayal of the District, including fact sheets, news releases, informational and promotional publications, and other material to the media and community.

  It is important that communication be maintained among the District, its community, and its varied audiences. The idea is to help create a positive school climate that promotes cooperation, family & community involvement, professional learning, and student achievement and that is open to new ideas that promote the development of education.
