The Allegheny Valley School District welcomes over 900 Pre-K - grade 12 students to its buildings to provide an inclusive learning environment.  Students are able to balance academics with opportunities in the arts, athletics, STEAM learning, and extra-curricular clubs, creating a balanced program that delivers a well-rounded educational experience.

Acmetonia Elementary School educates approximately 501 students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 6. Along with the core subject areas, the school offers a half-day Pre-Kindergarte, full-day Kindergarten, library, health, physical education, art, vocal and instrumental music, technology, and STEAM classes. Special programs include: Instrumental Music; Band 4, 5, and 6; Chorus 4, 5, and 6; Title I; Gifted and Talented Education (GATE); and other special education programs. Renovation projects were completed in September 2006 and December 2018.
