Four Acmetonia Elementary students were selected to participated in the Youth Honors Concert Band. Founded in 1989, the Youth Honors Band is an enriching opportunity for student musicians in grades 6-8. After a video submission, selected band students meet for two rehearsals, the last one culminating with a concert and reception at Seton Hill University's Performing Arts Center. Elementary students have competed for a spot in the Band for many years. This year, however, all four students who tried out for the Band were selected. Congratulations goes to: Jordyn Douglas (clarinet), Nicholas Errico (euphonium), James Leahy (trumpet), and Balan Mundok (trumpet).
