Springdale Jr-Sr High School students took part in the Chain Reaction Contraption at the Carnegie Science Center. Each team had to build a contraption that showed the meaning of Thanksgiving. The team of John Duku, Eldar Halimic, Patrick Wylly, and Joe Loebig highlighted Thanksgiving as a day for football. The team of Casey Dale, Lacey Shondeck, Ari Caltagarone, and Connor Krebs noted that Thanksgiving is the day that truly starts the Christmas season.
