The Allegheny Valley SD continues to develop information for the reopening of schools for the 2020-2021 school year.   Important information for parents is listed below:

Update 11-5-20: Phased Reopening Update

Update 10-22-20: Acmetonia Elementary School

On Tuesday, October 20, 2020, the Allegheny Valley School Board voted to keep the PreK-6 (Acmetonia Elementary School) students in the Hybrid Model (Learn at Home/Learn at School). At this time, there is no anticipated date to transition to additional in-person classes.

The Hybrid Model (Learn at Home/Learn at School) schedule that will remain in effect:

- Cohort A students attend in-person classes on Mondays and Thursdays.
- Cohort B students attend in-person classes on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- All students attend virtual classes on Wednesdays.

Administrators and staff are continually updating a transition plan to meet the needs of the school community. Thank you for your continued support. Any questions should be directed to the principals.
