District to Hold Vaccination Clinic - Update 10-5-21

UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is proudly partnering with the Allegheny Valley School District to vaccinate students and community
members against COVID-19 with the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. 

WHEN: October 28th, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
To schedule an appointment please visit:
https://forms.office.com/r/WqnxCjBmPb and select “Allegheny Valley.”
Students under age 18 will need a permission slip completed by a parent or guardian, which will be sent out by the Allegheny Valley School District.

WHERE: Springdale Jr-Sr High School, 501 Butler Rd, Springdale, PA 15144

WHO: For those students and community members in the Allegheny Valley School District ages 12+.

10-5-21 - An update for the October 28th Vaccination Clinic:

We are excited to let you know that we can now offer the 3rd dose Pfizer booster shots to individuals who received their 2nd dose Pfizer at least 6 months ago and meet the following criteria:

Criteria for 3rd dose (PFIZER)

  • Immunocompromised
  • >/= 65 years of age
  • A resident of a long-term care setting
  • 18-64 years of age and underlying medical conditions*
  • 18-64 years of age and increased risk based on institution or occupation**
